I am Cat Lady
7 months ago I was laid off from my job - I don't say this for sympathy, but rather in attempts to begin the story of my transformation from Girl to Cat Lady.
7 months ago I was laid off from my job, leaving me to experience life from the eyes of our four furry felines. Soon after I started my "fun-employment" I noticed the curious, but interesting behavior of these mischievous creatures. One particularly amusing antics was Miss Maybelline's constant howling, screeching and/or whining (honestly she has done each and all of those) whilst carrying around a mangy mouse (or once known as). Since I was home alone with my four friends whose vocal chords didn't utter much more than purrs or meows, I decided to call up my better half to describe these funny Maybelline (aka FUZZ) moments. It was upon hearing the lack of joy and excitement in Michael's voice that I realized I was becoming a full fledged cat lady.
NOTE: I began writing this blog entry over a week ago ... this goes to show my lack of commitment to blogging and abundance of laziness.
When I started writing this entry I had this vision of a short story writing of my life with lots of bravo and multiple cats. Though, I am beginning to realize this is only entertaining to me myself and I. So here are some pictures of the cats hanging out in the new cat room (aka office/sewing room) and fuzz finally calmed from her frantic crying/howling.

Red wine is fast at the lip of your glass
I am a rebel - one who runs against the grain and says I will not conform to your logical ways! Antibiotics and wine are a bad combo according to many medical documents and google searches, but I will not let science tell me what is right and wrong! Yes, a rebel am I ...
Last night I had a glass of wine about an hour after consuming a 500 MG Flagyl - BAD IDEA. I ended up feeling as though I had run through the driest desert on the hottest day of August; my body was sweating from every pore and my stomach was looking for means of escape.
Needless to say today will be my last day of Antibiotic hell ...
Tonight the bis, aka love of my life, and I will be having a much needed date night. Family time has left me exhausted, but has lent me plenty of time to perfect my crocheting skills. Though, I am much discouraged with my recent recipe/cooking attempts. I am hoping to visit the Silverlake Farmers Market tomorrow and find some new inspiration for vegan nom noms.
A progression of my crocheting skills ... Notice I haven't ventured out of the comfort of the long, square and simple scarf patterns.
Today I will perfect a beret I have been working on so pics will be uploaded upon completion!

Designer yarn
Too cheap to buy proper storage for my growing abundance of yarn and crocheting tools - I decided to repurpose some handbag satchels/bags.
